The 23rd of July 2017 was a very important day for us. We needed someone to capture the unique and special qualities that characterised the feeling of our chosen (slightly different) wedding ceremony. Annie did just that. She wrote us a service that included so much wisdom and beauty, and conducted it with all the professionalism that one could possibly fathom. She made the day so special. To say we recommend her services would be the understatement of the decade! We cannot stress how memorable she made our day and have no doubt that she would do the same for yours.

Annie-Lou conducted our ceremony last April. She was simply the best fit for us. We were drawn to her instantly with her sweet, clam and caring attributes. Annie-Lou thought of everything and guided us into the right direction. When she found out Stephen’s Father passed away as a child. Annie-Lou showed her brilliant Character by suggesting we light a candle before we commence the ceremony to remind us of those we have lost and those who were not able to attend for whatever reason. I would highly recommend Annie-Lou to take conduct your ceremony

"From the outset of our dealings with Annie-Lou she remained highly sensitive to our wedding requirements and worked with us to craft a custom ceremony according to our personal style. On the day of the wedding she put everyone at ease with an extremely high level of professionalism, ensuring that all the proceedings went according to plan, as well as providing gravitas and first class oratory to the ceremony! We recommend her unequivocally to anyone in the region. Our day was magical and Annie-Lou was a big part of the spell!"

Annie-Lou officiated our wedding at the Dreys wedding venue in Squirrel Wood in June 2018. She was fantastic from the moment we contacted her - very organised, friendly and thorough. Her ceremony was excellent, she had taken the time to visit the venue, research our readings and write some very personal words. We are so grateful to her and very happy that we chose her.

Having known Annie since I was 11 years old, there was no one else I would have asked to conduct our wedding. We wanted a ceremony that brought together our lives and heritage (British and Indian) in a beautiful and meaningful celebration of our marriage – Annie was the perfect choice for this. She helped us curate a lovely wedding with readings, music and a hand fasting ceremony that truly reflected us as a couple. Annie even came and visited our venue (my childhood home) so that we could have a dry run to see how everything fitted together in situ. Her experience, insight and thoughtfulness were instrumental in making our day special and memorable. We can’t thank her enough!

Annie-Lou immediately understood want we wanted from our wedding - a sense of celebration and happiness, without descending into sentimentality. She was very amenable to personalising the ceremony for us - such as including a handfasting - and was extremely helpful. She also put our parents at ease about the idea of having a independent celebrant conducting our ceremony.

She was elegantly dressed for the occasion and her soft voice carried clearly throughout the large, high ceilinged room - without the need for a microphone. Her wedding address was wonderful, incorporating references to literary relationships (reflecting the bride’s love of literature) without becoming patronising. She provided an insightful perspective on love, relationships and marriage which was highly personal to us, yet did not overlap in any way with the content that the Father of the Bride and Best Man needed for their speeches later on.

Overall, she was absolutely wonderful, and it was her presence that raised our wedding vows above a civil ceremony and made it a spiritual experience for us, our families and our guests. We cannot recommend her highly enough, or thank her enough.

From the moment we met Annie-Lou we knew she was ideal - being warm and friendly and genuinely wanting to spend time with us to get to know us before the big day. She was extremely well organised throughout - responding to any questions we had very quickly, and sending through many ideas/thoughts and drafts on how the ceremony could work. Annie-Lou was happy to meet us at the venue the day before the wedding for a run though - which really put our minds at rest. Most importantly the ceremony went exactly how we wanted it - being romantic, slightly informal and obviously with a lot of joy. We would highly recommend Annie-Lou - with many of our guests commenting on how she added to the whole day
